Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Junks by Yong Mun Sen was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,108.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yong Mun Sen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beach in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 61,629.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Junks von Yong Mun Sen kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.108,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yong Mun Sen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beach im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 61.629,44).
