The work A Beach Hut by Yong Mun Sen was sold in the Travel & Exploration auction at Bonhams in London in September 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,402.00 (€ 1,631.25), 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yong Mun Sen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beach in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 61,629.44).

Die Arbeit A Beach Hut von Yong Mun Sen wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Travel & Exploration bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.402,00 (€ 1.631,25) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yong Mun Sen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beach im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 61.629,44).
