The work Open Mind / Mente Abierta by Yoan Capote was worth USD 25,000.00 (€ 20,473.34) to a buyer in February 2018. This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yoan Capote achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Isla (in memoriam) in September last year with an auction result of USD 201,600.00 (€ 206,071.76).

Die Arbeit Open Mind / Mente Abierta von Yoan Capote war einem Käufer im Februar 2018 USD 25.000,00 (€ 20.473,34) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yoan Capote erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Isla (in memoriam) im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 201.600,00 (€ 206.071,76).
