Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Como los peces (Like Fish) by Yoan Capote was auctioned at Phillips in New York in February 2018. It achieved a price of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,653.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yoan Capote achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Isla (in memoriam) in September last year with an auction result of USD 201,600.00 (€ 206,071.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Como los peces (Like Fish) von Yoan Capote kam im Februar 2018 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.653,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yoan Capote erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Isla (in memoriam) im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 201.600,00 (€ 206.071,76).
