Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A View Through The Studio Window by Yehezkel Streichman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2009. It changed hands for a price of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,501.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yehezkel Streichman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn At My Window in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 110,500.00 (€ 83,276.81).

Die Arbeit A View Through The Studio Window von Yehezkel Streichman kam im November 2009 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.501,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yehezkel Streichman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn At My Window im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 110.500,00 (€ 83.276,81).
