Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Taiwanese Guava by Yeh Tzu-Chi was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,012.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yeh Tzu-Chi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010) in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,180,000.00 (€ 126,337.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Taiwanese Guava von Yeh Tzu-Chi wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.012,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yeh Tzu-Chi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010) im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.180.000,00 (€ 126.337,49).
