Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Splendid Bauhinia (Painted In 2020-2021) by Yeh Tzu-Chi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 540,000.00 (€ 60,067.52), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yeh Tzu-Chi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010), which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 1,180,000.00 (€ 126,337.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Splendid Bauhinia (Painted In 2020-2021) von Yeh Tzu-Chi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 60.067,52) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Yeh Tzu-Chi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010) beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 1.180.000,00 (€ 126.337,49) versteigert wurde.
