The work Taiwan Jasmine(Painted In 2018-2019) by Yeh Tzu-Chi was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 295,000.00 (€ 33,472.57), 64% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yeh Tzu-Chi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010), which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 1,180,000.00 (€ 126,337.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 64 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Taiwan Jasmine(Painted In 2018-2019) von Yeh Tzu-Chi wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 295.000,00 (€ 33.472,57) und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Yeh Tzu-Chi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010) beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 1.180.000,00 (€ 126.337,49) versteigert wurde.
