Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yeh Tzu-Chi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work Pink Piggy(Painted In 1997-2013) sold for HKD 188,800.00 (€ 19,921.42) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yeh Tzu-Chi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010) in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,180,000.00 (€ 126,337.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yeh Tzu-Chi erzielte im April 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Pink Piggy(Painted In 1997-2013) für HKD 188.800,00 (€ 19.921,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yeh Tzu-Chi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010) im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.180.000,00 (€ 126.337,49).
