A top price for Yeh Tzu-Chi - as previously expected
In April 2021 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010) by Yeh Tzu-Chi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 1,000,000.00 – 2,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 1,180,000.00 (€ 126,337.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010) is the most expensive artwork by Yeh Tzu-Chi that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2021 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010) von Yeh Tzu-Chi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 1.000.000,00 – 2.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 1.180.000,00 (€ 126.337,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yeh Tzu-Chi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
