Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yeh Tzu-Chi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. In the 20th Century Chinese Art auction, the work Chrysanthemum sold for HKD 262,500.00 (€ 26,132.51) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yeh Tzu-Chi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010) in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,180,000.00 (€ 126,337.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yeh Tzu-Chi erzielte im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art wurde die Arbeit Chrysanthemum für HKD 262.500,00 (€ 26.132,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yeh Tzu-Chi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mist, Bruwan, Hualien (Painted In 2009-2010) im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.180.000,00 (€ 126.337,49).
