Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Calligraphy In Lishu by Ye Yanlan was worth HKD 176,400.00 (€ 18,886.38) to a buyer in April 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 36,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Ye Yanlan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lady Under The Tree in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 93,909.97).
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Lishu von Ye Yanlan war einem Käufer im April 2021 HKD 176.400,00 (€ 18.886,38) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 36.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ye Yanlan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lady Under The Tree im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 93.909,97).
