Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy In Zhungdingwen by Ye Yanlan. The price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,950.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ye Yanlan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady Under The Tree in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 93,909.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Zhungdingwen von Ye Yanlan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.950,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ye Yanlan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady Under The Tree im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 93.909,97).
