Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Copy of Luo Ping’s Ancient Etymologists by Ye Yanlan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2021. The price achieved of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,424.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ye Yanlan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lady Under The Tree in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 93,909.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Copy of Luo Ping’s Ancient Etymologists von Ye Yanlan kam im November 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.424,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ye Yanlan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lady Under The Tree im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 93.909,97).
