A top price for Yasuda Yukihiko
In September 2002 Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Takenoko (Bamboo shoots) by Yasuda Yukihiko. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,629.00 (€ 2,661.20), 31% above the upper estimate. With this result, Takenoko (Bamboo shoots) is even the most expensive work of art by Yasuda Yukihiko that we have observed at auctions so far.
