Sold at the upper estimate price
In October 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art – Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Yu Yasuda. The auction ended at the price of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,503.09), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Yasuda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work INFILTRATION FLOW, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 18,278.50).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art – Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yu Yasuda zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.503,09) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Yasuda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit INFILTRATION FLOW beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 18.278,50) versteigert wurde.
