Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Floating with Tide by Yu Yasuda. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,973.73). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Yasuda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work INFILTRATION FLOW, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 18,278.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Floating with Tide von Yu Yasuda zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.973,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Yasuda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit INFILTRATION FLOW beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 18.278,50) versteigert wurde.
