The work Diaphanous by Yu Yasuda was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,558.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yu Yasuda; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot INFILTRATION FLOW sold at auction in November 2016 with the realized price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 18,278.50).

Die Arbeit Diaphanous von Yu Yasuda kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.558,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yu Yasuda; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit INFILTRATION FLOW im November 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 18.278,50).
