The work Buddha In Red by Yao Hua was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at POLY in April 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 64,900.00 (€ 7,387.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 62%. Admittedly, works by Yao Hua have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chrysanthemums By The Stream in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 33,018.54).

Die Arbeit Buddha In Red von Yao Hua wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei POLY versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 64.900,00 (€ 7.387,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 62%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yao Hua auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chrysanthemums By The Stream im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 33.018,54).
