Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunset by Yang Yanwen was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2020. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,034.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,800.00 – 6,400.00. Admittedly, works by Yang Yanwen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Casting The Net in December 2015 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,789.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sunset von Yang Yanwen kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.034,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.800,00 – 6.400,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Yanwen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Casting The Net im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.789,21).
