This price was achieved in the auction The Joy of Autumn – Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy (I) at POLY and exceeded the previously set estimate of HKD 500.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Yanwen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Casting The Net in December 2015 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,789.21).
