Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yang Yanwen could be acquired at Christies in New York in March this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Arts of Asia Online auction, the work Brawl in the Night changed hands for USD 630.00 (€ 579.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Yanwen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Casting The Net in December 2015 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,789.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Yanwen konnte im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Arts of Asia Online wechselte die Arbeit Brawl in the Night für USD 630,00 (€ 579,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Yanwen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Casting The Net im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.789,21).
