Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Spring by Yang Yanwen for USD 1,386.00 (€ 1,274.83). This price was achieved in the auction Arts of Asia Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Yanwen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Casting The Net in December 2015 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,789.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Spring von Yang Yanwen für USD 1.386,00 (€ 1.274,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Arts of Asia Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Yanwen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Casting The Net im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.789,21).
