Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Murmurring Brook & Amidst The Rugged Mountains (Two Works) by Yang Yanwen. The price achieved of CNY 59,000.00 (€ 8,532.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yang Yanwen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Casting The Net, which sold at auction in December 2015 for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,789.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Murmurring Brook & Amidst The Rugged Mountains (Two Works) von Yang Yanwen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 59.000,00 (€ 8.532,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yang Yanwen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Casting The Net beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.789,21) versteigert wurde.
