This artwork by Yang Yanwen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. In the Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings I & II auction, the work Landscape with Scholars sold for HKD 156,000.00 (€ 15,669.29) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yang Yanwen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Casting The Net sold at auction in December 2015 with the realized price of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,789.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Yanwen erzielte im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings I & II wurde die Arbeit Landscape with Scholars für HKD 156.000,00 (€ 15.669,29) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yang Yanwen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Casting The Net im Dezember 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.789,21).
