Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2005 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FINE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY CHINESE PAINTINGS, which included the work Fishing In The Evening by Yang Yanwen. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 36,000.00 (€ 3,748.97). Admittedly, works by Yang Yanwen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Casting The Net in December 2015 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,789.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion FINE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY CHINESE PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing In The Evening von Yang Yanwen zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 36.000,00 (€ 3.748,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Yanwen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Casting The Net im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.789,21).
