Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Five-character Calligraphic Couplet in Clerical Script by Yang Xian was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,639.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yang Xian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Twelve-Character Couplet In Clerical Script in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 295,000.00 (€ 32,468.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Five-character Calligraphic Couplet in Clerical Script von Yang Xian kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.639,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Xian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Twelve-Character Couplet In Clerical Script im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 295.000,00 (€ 32.468,23).
