Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Lishu by Yang Xian was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 11,065.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yang Xian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Twelve-Character Couplet In Clerical Script, which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 295,000.00 (€ 32,468.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Lishu von Yang Xian kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 11.065,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yang Xian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Twelve-Character Couplet In Clerical Script beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 295.000,00 (€ 32.468,23) versteigert wurde.
