The work Police Series No. 15 by Yang Shaobin was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,149.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Shaobin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fighting 98-13 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 502,303.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Police Series No. 15 von Yang Shaobin wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.149,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Shaobin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fighting 98-13 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 502.303,49).
