Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Port by Yang San-Lang was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 180,000.00 (€ 17,139.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 140,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang San-Lang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunrise in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 251,381.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Port von Yang San-Lang wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 180.000,00 (€ 17.139,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 140.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang San-Lang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunrise im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 251.381,85).
