In November 2011 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Harbor by Yang San-Lang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 375,000.00 (€ 35,874.90), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Yang San-Lang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunrise in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 251,381.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im November 2011 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Harbor von Yang San-Lang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 35.874,90) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang San-Lang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunrise im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 251.381,85).
