Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Duckweed by Yang San-Lang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. It changed hands for a price of HKD 810,000.00 (€ 80,326.46) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 650,000.00 – 850,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yang San-Lang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunrise, which sold at auction in May 2007 for HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 251,381.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Duckweed von Yang San-Lang kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 810.000,00 (€ 80.326,46) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 650.000,00 – 850.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yang San-Lang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunrise beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 251.381,85) versteigert wurde.
