Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2011 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Dock at Danshui by Yang San-Lang. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 16,772.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang San-Lang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunrise in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 251,381.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dock at Danshui von Yang San-Lang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 16.772,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang San-Lang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunrise im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 251.381,85).
