This artwork by Yang Mingyi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. In the FINE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY CHINESE PAINTINGS I auction, the work Landscapes sold for HKD 132,000.00 (€ 14,442.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yang Mingyi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Village By The River, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 575,000.00 (€ 54,564.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Mingyi erzielte im November 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion FINE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY CHINESE PAINTINGS I wurde die Arbeit Landscapes für HKD 132.000,00 (€ 14.442,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yang Mingyi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Village By The River beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 575.000,00 (€ 54.564,51) versteigert wurde.
