Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings I - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings, which included the work Spring by Yang Mingyi. The price achieved of HKD 115,000.00 (€ 10,695.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yang Mingyi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Village By The River in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 575,000.00 (€ 54,564.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings I - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spring von Yang Mingyi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 115.000,00 (€ 10.695,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Mingyi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Village By The River im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 575.000,00 (€ 54.564,51).
