Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn and reeds by Yang Kihoon was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2002. The price achieved of USD 2,270.50 (€ 2,298.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Yang Kihoon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Descending Geese At The Xiao And Xiang Rivers in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 13,200.00 (€ 10,874.04).

Die Arbeit Autumn and reeds von Yang Kihoon kam im September 2002 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.270,50 (€ 2.298,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Kihoon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Descending Geese At The Xiao And Xiang Rivers im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.200,00 (€ 10.874,04).
