Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Crescent moon, goose and reeds by Yang Kihoon was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,560.00 (€ 1,293.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Yang Kihoon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Descending Geese At The Xiao And Xiang Rivers in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 13,200.00 (€ 10,874.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Crescent moon, goose and reeds von Yang Kihoon kam im September 2005 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.560,00 (€ 1.293,75) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Kihoon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Descending Geese At The Xiao And Xiang Rivers im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.200,00 (€ 10.874,04).
