In September 2009 Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Geese and Reeds by Yang Kihoon. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,835.27) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Yang Kihoon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2006 the work Descending Geese At The Xiao And Xiang Rivers was auctioned for USD 13,200.00 (€ 10,874.04).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im September 2009 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Geese and Reeds von Yang Kihoon zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 6.835,27) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Yang Kihoon konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2006 die Arbeit Descending Geese At The Xiao And Xiang Rivers für USD 13.200,00 (€ 10.874,04) versteigert.
