Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven Intellectuals In Bamboo Forest, Part V by Yang Fudong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,784.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yang Fudong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The First Intellectual in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seven Intellectuals In Bamboo Forest, Part V von Yang Fudong kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.784,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Fudong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The First Intellectual im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60).
