The work The River by Yan Wenliang was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 295,000.00 (€ 32,468.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yan Wenliang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Night Moon in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 4,360,000.00 (€ 503,935.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 64 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The River von Yan Wenliang kam im Oktober 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 295.000,00 (€ 32.468,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yan Wenliang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Night Moon im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.360.000,00 (€ 503.935,34).
