Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunrise On A Winter Day by Yan Wenliang was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 1,298,000.00 (€ 146,239.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yan Wenliang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Night Moon, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 4,360,000.00 (€ 503,935.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sunrise On A Winter Day von Yan Wenliang wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.298.000,00 (€ 146.239,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.000.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yan Wenliang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Night Moon beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 4.360.000,00 (€ 503.935,34) versteigert wurde.
