In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Seventeen Arches Bridge by Yan Wenliang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 3,160,000.00 (€ 365,237.54), 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yan Wenliang; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Night Moon sold at auction in May 2016 with the realized price of HKD 4,360,000.00 (€ 503,935.34).

Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seventeen Arches Bridge von Yan Wenliang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 3.160.000,00 (€ 365.237,54) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yan Wenliang; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Night Moon im Mai 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 4.360.000,00 (€ 503.935,34).
