A top price for Yan Wenliang
This artwork by Yan Wenliang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Night Moon sold for HKD 4,360,000.00 (€ 503,935.34) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 2,000,000.00. This high result makes Night Moon the most expensive artwork by Yan Wenliang that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Yan Wenliang erzielte im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Night Moon für HKD 4.360.000,00 (€ 503.935,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 2.000.000,00.
