In November 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art & Chinese 20th Century Art (Evening Sale), which included the work Magnificent Landscape by Yan Wenliang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 2,780,000.00 (€ 274,673.21), 74% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yan Wenliang; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Night Moon sold at auction in May 2016 with the realized price of HKD 4,360,000.00 (€ 503,935.34).

Im November 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art & Chinese 20th Century Art (Evening Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Magnificent Landscape von Yan Wenliang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 2.780.000,00 (€ 274.673,21) und damit 74% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yan Wenliang; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Night Moon im Mai 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 4.360.000,00 (€ 503.935,34).
