Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait of Isabelle Huppert III by Yan Pei-Ming was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in October last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 138,600.00 (€ 161,467.47), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Yan Pei-Ming have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pape in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,026,850.00 (€ 1,297,972.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait of Isabelle Huppert III von Yan Pei-Ming wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 138.600,00 (€ 161.467,47) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yan Pei-Ming auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pape im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.026.850,00 (€ 1.297.972,83).
