Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2000 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Worker Drinking (1950) by Yakov Khalip. The price achieved of USD 2,585.00 (€ 2,844.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yakov Khalip - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Baltic Fleet, Baltic Sailors In The 40S, Naval Gun And The Guard, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,273.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2000 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Worker Drinking (1950) von Yakov Khalip zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.585,00 (€ 2.844,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yakov Khalip mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Baltic Fleet, Baltic Sailors In The 40S, Naval Gun And The Guard beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.273,14) versteigert wurde.
