Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Cursive Script (Warring States Period To Western Han Dynasty,5Th Century Bc - 1St Century) by Xu Shiying was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,313.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xu Shiying have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 25,082.61).

Die Arbeit Poem In Cursive Script (Warring States Period To Western Han Dynasty,5Th Century Bc - 1St Century) von Xu Shiying kam im November 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.313,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xu Shiying auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 25.082,61).
