Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Xu Shiying was sold in the Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 21,240.00 (€ 2,241.16). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Shiying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 25,082.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Xu Shiying wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 21.240,00 (€ 2.241,16) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Shiying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 25.082,61).
