A top price for Xu Ruotao
This artwork by Xu Ruotao achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work History No. 4 sold for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,487.49) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. This high result makes History No. 4 the most expensive artwork by Xu Ruotao that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Xu Ruotao erzielte im April 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit History No. 4 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.487,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00.
