This artwork by Xu Ruotao achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in June 2021. In the From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection auction, the work "Rot" sold for EUR 5,547.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xu Ruotao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work History No. 4, which sold at auction in April 2012 for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,487.49).

In der Auktion From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection wurde die Arbeit "Rot" für EUR 5.547,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Xu Ruotao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit History No. 4 beobachtet, die im April 2012 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.487,49) versteigert wurde.
